It was just another day in the sewers and tunnels beneath Vatican City: somewhere water was dripping, while the old brick walls which supported this underworld labyrinth continued to deteriorate, crumbling away to dust. The only sounds that could be heard were those of the steady flow of water, the occasional sound from the human world above, filtering down, and the sounds of the Skaven clan which infested this subterranean nest, known to them as Vert’a Kan Serte , as they performed their daily practice drills, sprinting up and down the length of the newly constructed Blood Bowl pitch. The Skavens had been invited to assemble a team to compete in the upcoming seventh season of the New World Football League; so each litter of ratlings were brought before the council, and the fastest, most cunning, wickedest, and most fierce of these rats were made to begin their training. These ratlings have now grown, and they are eager to go forth and show their dominance over all other races, including any fellow Skaven clan foolish enough to challenge them.

Final standing: 5/2/7
Not the best, but not the worst, by far. These rats got off to a slow, painful start, the first seven matches of the season being played against mostly bash-heavy teams. But, soon enough we began to find our way, through proper inducements, a foul here or there, and some fancy agility rolls.
