Ever unforlorn vamps?
I lost my qualifier final with my Vamp team. My Necro opponent played very well and deserved the win even if I had my chances in OTwhich only snakes destroyed.

I checked several final draws in GLT (I guess it will be similar in other majors) and found no Vamp team in a final draw.

Now I ask myself: will someone ever be able to unforlorn vamps? May be due to BL and almost useless thralls that is simply not possible...?

May be one of the crack coaches of the site should try to do so as a challenge?

What are your thoughts? Anyone volunteers?

Well if anyone would know you should.

Actually we've had some very good coaches championing vamps in the past.

Burnalot can be classed as a vamp coach. Fanatic's done pretty well with them. Vicious (forgot how he spells vicious) also dabbled with them.

Vamp Xeno was always a great affair.

I think Tarabaralla made it to a final draw with Vampires once. But yeah, with the number of games you have to play to actually win a major, odds are there will be one game in between where Blood Lust really screws you.

And once in a major his Vamp team that was first to make it to the semi finals beat up my Slann team that was the first Slann to make it to a major semi final. And then he didn't go an win the major afterward. >:|

Heh, is that really a vampire-specific obstacle?

From what I've seen vamps can put clawplombers on the back foot like few others. Of course if the clawplombers give up and just go for damage that wont help the vamps much.
