Nice player. I would go sprint, so that he reaches even further. SS is also a good option. Don't worry about double.

Or fend to enjoy slightly longer.

SS for the OTS

Sprint.

Sidestep is good for the occasional sideline cage too.

Pass Block, every legend should take it as their last skill :)
You know you want too.
Aw, go on!
Go on!
Go on, go on, go on, GO ON!!!

sprint or sidestep would both be solid. Pass block is nice, but only on AG5+ imo. =)

He recently fired off healthy Blitzers and a gimped Catcher and has been sitting at/around 1500 for the last bunch of games
.: He is looking for a skill (Double) that will give him the biggest bang for his buck to help keep his team low. He is probably looking to bank some cash at this point.
Although the Slann ReRolls are cheap, the team can use ReRoll help.
From this assesment, I suggest:
Leader

SS: Helps keep him alive, helps him move the ball, helps with the OTS (especially a OTS where you are low on players). Other things you may use sometimes and could be really fun, but you will never regret taking SS on a legend IMO. If he already had SS I'd take guard I think, but that's just me.

Oh, and congrats! Salsa needs to step it up I see! I probably have the blitzer record still, but I don't want to check just now because I'd have to update my bio then. And I'm, er, busy right now...
