Oh nuts (medical stuff, don't read if you find that distressing)
I went in to see my doctor a couple of months ago because my leg had swelled up (which I blamed on tight socks and sitting down too much) but an ultrasound, a CT scan, a follow up CT-guided biopsy and an orchiectomy confirmed that I had a cancerous testicle, and a tumour in my abdomen from where it had spread, which was pressing on the vein and causing my leg to swell.

Lessons learned: please take care of yourself, get regular check ups, avoid getting cancer if you can.

Fortunately, my diagnosis is better than it might otherwise be: this is one of the more treatable cancers and my medical team are pretty confident. I'm at the end of the first week of 9 weeks of chemo, and so far the only side effects are being tired and having to pee a lot more to get rid of all the stuff being pumped into me. Oh, and the bulging leg I had? That's now full on DVT from thigh to toe, and I doubt you want the disgusting details. If you do want disgusting details, reach out, I don't want anyone spitting out their cornflakes because they thought I was going to write an essay on Akhorne.

Anyway, the Blood Bowl community at large is so supportive, and I've made so many friends through it that have helped me with this, so want to express some gratitude here, because I never would have had those friends without Fumbbl.

For the immediate future, I can't realistically commit to scheduling any matches (I don't know from day to day whether I'll be physically, mentally, or emotionally capable) so I've dropped from almost all of my leagues until I'm done with this.

Obviously scratching the itch by playing against the AI on my Xbox would only make matters worse, but I will be trying to get occasional games in Competitive when I'm feeling up to it, or in the MGM (should give that a plug) if the stars align and one of the other coaches is free when I am, because the structure doesn't require a particular order of rounds. So I'll be here, dipping in and out of the threads on whether it's right to T16 foul or any of the other perennial topics, I just won't be around as much.
