Ok my wife and I are expecting our first baby anytime now. Her water broke tuesday afternoon and we went to the hospital for a checkup where they concluded that her water actually had broken but that she was "just" in prelabour so we were sent home again.
Semi regular contractions made sleeping that night somewhat akward.
At the mandatory checkup yesterday the contractions had of course stopped and we were sent home once agin!
After another night with even more contractions and less sleep we are now back at the hospital awaiting the proper labour-contractions to start.
It feels were strange with the biggest thing one is likely to experience, is also associated with lots and lots of waiting and a feeling that there is very little I can do.
Mainly I fetch things, massage her and hold her hand while she goes through the pains of the contractions.
