Howie taken out by dirty 'flings!
That's right, the Dirty Cranberries legend was singled out early on against the Flying Sammiches, coached by Kam. An unexpected (it's been too long since I played against him!) blitz by a tree saw Howie Makepeace seriously injured after just a couple of turns in this match. The injury saw him take a -MA and miss the rest of the game. But I'm an idiot, and I love my zombie so I used another potion on him. That's right. Two potions on a zombie. One for -AG, one for -MA :D
Howie is back to full strength, and is ANGRY. Just two targets remain for him. 1000SPP, and to get ahead of Golradir on touchdowns - he needs 257, just 14 more.
We lost 2-0 to the Sammiches, and we deserved to. Great play by Kam, coupled with solid cas rolls saw us rapidly thinned until we had hardly anyone left on the pitch. A top game against a great coach.

Bit jelly of Kam, tried to get some Howie finger bones by the past as lucky charms and i had no luck in this, at least it stays in the family -)

And for the record, the three legends on the pitch cumulated more than 2000 SPP (top 4 and 6 active stars were on the pitch - top 10 and 16 all time).
As for the Sammiches, Tom Vampling has finally become a Super Star, and rolled a 3rd stat increase, making him a fling to watch.

What kind of superhuman parts did you use to build THAT zombie?! Wow. I've had a team of level 5s once, but never a 6 let alone a legend like that. It will be a sad day indeed when his body parts come apart at the seams for the final non-regenerative time. 270+ games? How long have you had the team?
Now -I- want to have a crack at him, but my teams are not even out of 1100 range, if that, in Ranked...
This gives me a reason to play some of my teams... that zombie has more targets painted on his back than most of the members of the Council of Thirteen of the Skaven!

yeah OP and then damn cherrypicking Kam goes picking on poor Howie's team. I wish Christer did something about this horrible business.

Badoek is right, - ma was a pain but nothing carreer breaking, that was your last potion and if he gets any early niggling injury in the futur it's gonna be heartbreaking.

Yeah, I did hesitate over the potion. But what the hell, I want those targets.
@Burnalot: haha yeah, we do pick a bit from time to time but apart from avoiding clawpomb heavy teams I'll play most anything. Think we've played all races, and only 2 we haven't beaten. If Howie gets the last two targets I'll be less careful about matchups. Dorfs and C-Dorfs can still jog on though, yawnsome fellas that they are :D

4 deaths, two SI perms (both potioned) and 14 lightning strikes. He's been gangfouled a bunch of times too. Hopefully he can hold together for those last few matches :D
