$230 to raise, good sirs.
Make this your Sunday good deed (in service of whichever dark gods you follow).
Posted by akaRenton on 2015-09-27 23:07:46
Just refreshed and it's just $210 to go now.

Donating tonight when I get home. If we can save Borak, we can sure as hell do this.

Does this still count towards the stretch goal of retiring the Lammer Heretics? :D
Posted by pythrr on 2015-09-28 00:52:50
No, sadly. Mainly as akaRenton made them a new Team Logo.
But --- if you donate, I will allow you to name their next replacement players, and you can make it as embarassing as you like :)

update
$90 to go, guys. Let's do this thing.

who votes these posts down? seriously, what kind of mean spirited asshat wants to stop others from helping. There's no compulsion to help out, but why vote the post down so that it might lose visibility? That's like kicking homeles people. Asshat.

It's up to $782 now. Who's got an extra $18?

heh, looks like our very own dept. of corrections has been 'cleansing' this comments thread....What happened to FUMBBL's now famous freedom of speech? Maybe the said coach should have commented negatively on a larger group of people...That's allowed here. His opinion no matter where you stand should be allowed and respected in accordance to the precedent set a few years back when another topic blew up.
foe the record I donated in the 1st drive, but things are tight so I can't help this time round...sry, I wish Pentalarc all the luck in the world with his issues x
Posted by Mr_Foulscumm on 2015-09-28 18:11:21
Good luck Pentalarc.

Thank you for yr donation in the first round, Calcium. There is no compulsion to donate this time (for anyone); we're just spreading the word for thiose who are in the position to help. Things like this are more important than petty disagreements over pixels.

I very much appreciate everyone helping out, and so quickly. I'm sure Rene and his family will be hugely relieved. Thank you all so much.
Been at work, but from reading back it would appear a couple of comments were made that were deleted either by the author or admins. Either way, if you don't want to donate you don't have to.

Some of this stuff is really hard for me to understand. For instance the payment plan issue. Wouldn't the land lord be still representing her buisness or whatever instance she was speaking for when she negotiated the payment plan? And wouldn't that mean that her not being authorized to do it is an internal issue the company has to deal with themselves? After all she appeard with a capacity before Pentalarc to be able to negotiate such a deal and did make it.
Otherwise any company could just opt out of any given contract at any given time by simply sending out emissaries that are not authorized to make the contracts they make.

If you have issue with it, then ask Pentalarc.
Posted by Wreckage on 2015-09-29 00:08:34
Why, doesn't he read your blog?
Posted by Throweck on 2015-09-29 00:16:12
Wreckage I can't tell if your posts are genuine or tinged with sarcasm. I think what Rents was saying was if you want more info ask the man himself. He might appreciate any legal insight you might have.
Posted by Throweck on 2015-09-29 00:30:06
Target met. Well done Penty. Good luck buddy. Thanks to anyone that donated :)
Posted by Wreckage on 2015-09-29 00:40:35
Strange Throweck I feel similar about your and akaRentons snappy responses over a very genuine question.
Posted by pythrr on 2015-09-29 00:47:49
Wreckage - it's America. The entire system is set up to screw people.
Posted by pythrr on 2015-09-29 00:48:42
The poor have very little power, especially compared with countries in Western Europe.
Posted by Throweck on 2015-09-29 00:50:09
Nothing snappy about mine mate. Quite genuine actually. You seem to have some insight. Perhaps get in touch with Penty. He might not know the things you have talked about. Maybe that would be helpful to him.
I think sometimes Wreckage you can come across quite hard when you ask genuine questions. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against you. Just an observation.
Posted by Wreckage on 2015-09-29 02:19:53
I don't know the American legal system, it's just interesting to see the differences.

I kept my response brief because we have a track record of disagreeing or misunderstanding each other. I was attempting to keep the blog on topic with a brief suggestion to speak to the man himself.
