The more they cry, the more you should mock them :D
Btw Underworld rule! Good favourite roster choice!

He whines, that is if he even says anything at all.
When people have a whine in chat they aren't pointing fingers, well most of them don't, but are just venting to let off some steam.
I wouldn't worry about it and just enjoy the game.

Nice blog, and glad to hear your fumbbling is going well! Keep at it, dicewhining is not that prevalent luckily!

Dice whinning is fine if done staying in the fluff, blaming the gods, the horned rat, the Chaos Deamons, the players (not the coach)
One of the most entertaing match I had, was against a goblin team where my opponent and me, simply insulted each other (role playing) and all the players and every single dice
But when blaming dices are made to mean you're not a good coach and you're winning only because of luck and the like, it can be boring

It is nice to have some compassion. :)
I'd say take a look at the coach's record.
If the coach has a terrible record then commiserate with him. That it is terrible that Nuffle shows him no love.
You may want to invite him to play in the 145 Club Rookie League.

If the coach has a good record. Or even worse, a very good record then feel free to mock him and wind him up as much as you possibly can.
If you feel that the coach only picked you because he thought that you were a nice cherry, ripe for the picking, then don't let up until he puts his fist through his screen.

Welcome to fumbbl!

There's nothing you can do about the dice, so no point in bitching about them. Saying that, it is very frustrating when you get double skulls, then re-roll for them to blink at you with another couple of skulls. Typing stuff to show your frustration is very tempting, but it's not worth bitching about. And there's not much point in trying to comfort an angry Blood Bowl player; they tend to bitch all the more, lol.
Nice post.

"any dice throw in bb can result in a turnover"
Actually, no.
Some examples: Kick Off, Jump Up, armour rolls, Really Stupid, Bonehead, Wild Animal, Foul Appearance, Take Root, Stab rolls don't result in a turnover.
:D

Well a kick off can kind of result in a turnover on one result

The more they complain about dices. The more you should be fouling. (Cause I'm assuming your up on players by then as well)

chances are they saw your rookie status and thought you'd be an easy win. When it doesn't happen, that's when they go all sour face blaming the dice. This is especially true if they are above average CR.
Used to happen to me back when I was a 135CR coach. I enjoyed it :D

ImpactedAnimal: the Kick Off roll itself doesn't lead to a turnover.
A Blitz! bonus turn could result in a turnover but the 2d6 you roll for the Kick Off can't result in a turnover.

Ladies and gentlemen, i think MattDakka is right.
There are failure dices where no turnover happen. So I still need to learn a lot. Eventhough sometimes Really Stupid feels even worse than a turnover! Yet I edited my posting accordingly.
Thing is, for me all failures and disasters in Bloodbowl are at least fluff wise entertaining. If I can't bear a hooligan audience throwing rocks at my elaborated defence formation I probably have to play chess instead.
So yes, most times swearing at Nuffle's dice should be entertaining aswell, for both coaches. If you can't bear the pain you probably could spectate other matches and always boo when you see other players dice some skulls ;)
So thanks for the gleeful reception - if this was a subreddit I would vote up all your comments to visualise my enjoyment for those minutes of internet social interaction - and see you on the pitch.

Crybabies are very, very annoying. Especially the ones that tell you you're not good enough to beat them normally. The quickest way to kill the enjoyment of a game of fumbbl for someone is to whine like a baby. I just stop talking to them and try to destroy them as much as possible if it happens.
