- This is Spunkin' O'Blogg of the RTBBN with the news that all Boyz fans dreaded hearing. The obituary of our own Grumpypants.
- After a long and injury free career age finally took its toll on Grumpypants after the teams 76th game, of which Grumps played all but one.
- Cheered on by the rabid Boyz fans up in section B, and myself of course, Grumps continued playing for the team despite his niggling injury. The legend only lasted for another two games though. In a violent <A HREF="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=1628945">match</A> versus some very strong ogres Grumps finally fell.
- And what a fall it was!
- In a way it is only fitting that the behemoth ogre, who was almost impossible to knock over, finally fell by own accord. Taking a wrong step Grumps went wide of his blitz target, right into enemy tackle zones and hit the ground with a crash like falling timber. He died instantly.
- Reminiscing Grumps tossing goblins over the awed upturned faces of orcish linebacks, tearing stormvermin to shreds in mighty multiblocks or dodging out of a cluster of angry darkelves brings a tear to my old eye.
- You'll be missed Grumps! There'll be none like you ever again, and we will never know why you were so grumpy about those pants.
