lol -- For me and my 4 yr old, "chess" is where we open the box, take out the pieces, set them all up, play "what's this called?", then put everything back in the styro again.

Used to do something similar to make pool more interesting when drunk at the pub. Get someone to stick plastic cups over the balls while the players aren't looking so they have no clue what colour they're aiming at.
