CIBBL - Dökkálfar Dreki Fanzone Issue 7
Heave Ho! Heave Ho! Rise it up from down below! Welcome to episode seven of the Dökkálfar Dreki Fanzone; last time we talked about The Dreki's rising star Frøya. This time, after her ferocious performance against the Waystone Outcasts we're going to look at the grudge that drives her on.

Frøya has nursed a personal grudge against a particular Outcasts player for a year now - their star blitzer Jérôme Jenfyre.

V

We go back a year to Winter in Year 7 - Dreki's captain Aeghir lost his first wife Ran in an Autumn fixture against the Amazons, but had met and married Frøya before the Winter friendlies.

First, Jenfyre hit and killed Aeghir's daughter Blodughadda, and then late on in the game he mercilessly attacked Aeghir himself, leaving the captain dead on the turf.

Worst, the Outcasts ran out the winners. Frøya was crushed but vowed her revenge.

Fast forward to Winter Year 8 - the two captains Mimir and Jenfyre agreed to play a friendly but the motivation for both was to settle some scores. In a howling blizzard, the match developed as a battle in the snow.

Jenfyre drew first blood, smashing Torstein Hund to the turf, right in front of Frøya, and knocking the Dreadblade unconscious.

But Frøya's fury grew as the match progressed and she knocked out some of the Outcast's players before unleashing a savage hit on the other Blitzer Ariel Anstar.

Anstar would play no further part in the game and would also sit out the next waiting for his broken ribs to heal.

She had to wait for the second half for her chance to confront Jenfyre, but she put a year's worth of grief and anger into the blow and left the Half Elf too hurt to continue.

However, he still lived and so the grudge is not settled.
They will meet again!

Thanks for tuning in, see you next time!

Yay GIFs of blood. Fingers crossed she gets to kill him next year.

Happy now she's hitting things other than gnoblars?

Exactly. Everyone loves seeing elves get hurt, so I guess these half count. How does your side step help you now that you're in the CAS box huh?

I see you omitted the two times Jenfyre knocked Frøya down, yet somehow she survived!
Next year we shall see who wins (or this is some rom-com scenario and they fall in love despite it all).

No one is interested in knockdowns, only blood!
I bet it was you who voted me down. Half breed scum. Just jealous of pure breed Elves.
