Warpstone Open VIII decisions
..what to bring to the WO?
My Smackers generally do well in tournaments, and benefits from being underdogs and getting inducements. However, at TV1610 they are lightweights and have sub-developed wolves and wights.

Then my Coldbloods are a little more fit. However, only 1 tackler and 2 rookie sauri will leave them unable to take on anything remotely dodgy.

I will see if either of them can get a game tonight and prolly Nuffle will decide for me, once I pick a clawpomb team to prep with ;)

Go with the Lizzies and don't play a bunch of games now.

Two rookie saurii are fine for LoS. You already have a solid core including two great ball handling skinks.

Note: you are boned if you draw elves but I don't think your necros would fare any better.

Lizzies are far better than Necro.

I think you'll suffer against both developed claw teams and developed elves, but if you can grab a wizard, you've got a good chance of getting somewhere.

Don't forget that only the highest TV 104 teams get accepted.

1610TV might be on shakey ground.

Good useful comments everyone, thanks.

Add me to the list who think that 1610 TV is asking to miss the cut.

I doubt my orcs will be left behind at 1830, but I'd still feel better if they were a bit beefier. I'd only put a team at 1610 if I didn't like any of my other options.

Last year the cut was in the 1500's, wasn't it?

Not sure if last years cut was 690k or Filler :P
