Been comments on the loss of tw brackets, but doing brawl style based tw sorts that out pretty well I think. I got two fair matchups at least (sure azure will beat me as he normally does, but fair and square :)

I just realized I got seeded on the basis of my TW. Which means I probably will get knocked out immediately. Don't apply with MNGs. Lesson learned.

I thought it is King of the Hill format?!

"SMACKs will be run in a King of the Hill style. This means that following a random seeding of 8-teams into the bracket, the second round will be a random matchup, as well."

When created, this option has to be selected - I know sometimes I forget to do this for the Blackbox Brawls. Given that this is a change for the Smacks - probably just forgot to select that option. It happens.

Very encouraging! Lets hope it persists. If so, I strongly suggest to revisit the naming conventions. Fumbbl Smack Scheduled - Brawl seems a tad unwieldy and confusing to newbies. Just call it SMACK, full stop, would be my vote. :-)
