First official game in our stadion, but it didnot go as planned. Maybe it was the stress of the moment or that the team wanted to give a show in front of their fans, the issue that this game was by football standards a disaster.

The first half was characterised by a very bloody scrimmage near a sideline of the field. Khorne, our opponent today, seems that he likes not only violence, but also training, since his team executed a very nice blitz kick of event (for him, not us). Our Minotaurs picked the challenge and a lengthy fight along the sideline started. A Bloodletter was killed by #1 Minos, our Safety Minotaur and #10 Anna Ani, the Bray, did his best to remove opponents by doing 3 Fouls. But this is was not enough and probably these things were the only remarkable things that our team did today. Our playmaker #12 Jane Donser got injured very early in the game, and at the end of the first half the ball was still lying on the grass, despite the desperate effort of #8 River Gom, the other designated ball carrier of the team.

Second Half was even more bad. The Minotaurs have huge problem in playing defense and this game was underlining this weakness. Our opponents have managed to nourish their Bloodletters, since they attacked very rarely their teammates, while our Minotaurs were ignoring the coach all the time, when he was screaming for the repositioning. Alone the Brays were decimated and we lost #8 River Gom. The Apo did not manage to save him, so the beautiful struggle of Gom and Donser for the ball handling records in our team will not continue any more. Farewell River Gom, he died while trying to save the game against all odds. So we will name hero of this Game, so that to honour him. He played only 4 games for us, but he was one of our best players always. Finally, a intetionally late TD from the Khornites destroyed also our last hopes for a 4th place in the conference. 0-1 Defeat. Mathematically we need 2 wins in the following two games (or at least 1 win and 1 draw and some surprise results in the other games) to fulfil our aim.

The only good think is that we now have a Minotaur like nowhere else in all the Old World, Lustria, Southlands and Khuresh (We did not know about the Southern Wastes or Lumbria yet). A MV 6 Agi 3 Bonehead not Wild Animal Minotaur, this is our #1 Minos. I know that he does not have yet learned any skills, but he is training very hard. Who khows, maybe he will be the partener of #12 Donser in the ball handling. We managed already to score with one Minotaur once, did not we? Now we can dreaming for even more!
