After a successful Autumn performance (for Halflings) the Swan Riders have taken the decision to spend the winter outside of the fields. There were many invitations for a friendly game, but the Board decided to decline them all (sorry for the people that I did not reply, there were too many to write a personal reply). But when news that the legendary Arfie Shortenegger “will be back” for a short visit in Moot generated enough motivation for a “Total Recall” of all the players for a Memorial game (and breakfast and lunch and dinner) to honor this remarkable “Predator” of the football fields. He was characterized as the “Last Action Hero”, the player who was taking all the critical actions, a true “Commando” for all the difficult moments. Born in a mixed family of Halfling and Forest Halfling (then Pygmy) had a remarkable carreer across two continents, despite the fact that at his first games was considered only as one of the “Expendables”. He played for Halflings, Forest Halflings, but the peek of his career was with Amazon Teams in the Lustrian Superleague. When Thrud “the Barbarian” was asked how true were all these stories about his achievements (CABAL has not yet started to broadcast the games, when Arfie was at his peak) he responded cryptically that there are “True lies”.
