Greetings sports fans,

Swan Riders will never give up! Despite the overwhelming force of our opponents, we are here to fight for every game. Our last game was against a CIBBL legendary team, Grasparossa B. B. C , who last Autumn played in the Gold Division. This team is by far until now the most prestigious team whom we faced in CIBBL. We lost 2-1 , but I think that everyone can agree that we fought very hard to take a result there. Yes, we lost the ball during our first offensive drive, but we manage to equalize in a somehow spectacular Halfling way (Throw Team Mate). Puggy played his second consecutive game with the Swan Riders, this time without suffering a Casualty and another Ogre with the name Borg (first time for the Swan Riders, but this was his 7th CIBBL appearance with Halflings) helped with his speed and strength to remain in the game against such a skilled opponent (there were opponent players with 3, 4 or even 5 extra skills!!). The second halftime was a big fight, we managed almost to steal the ball, but in the critical phases luck was not with us. Coach Kharigor said that he is proud of his team and its appearance: he is concerned that in the last games the blocking game of our Trees does not bring any results, that despite the heavy training both trees spend the last two games always rooted and that we are losing all the critical fights, but the team manage to pose some problems to the opponent and that is fine. As we have said many times before, the first aim is to avoid the last place in the Empire Regionals. This is easier said than done. Our last game is versus another very good skilled team, the Matrons of Malice from the Sisters of Sigmar.

The previous games between Sisters of Sigmar and Halflings in the CIBBL are:
Congregation of Holy Touchdown – Mootland Defenders 2-1
Congregation of Holy Touchdown – Gipfel Blueleaves 1-0
Congregation of Holy Touchdown – Lords of the Harvest 3-0

Total: 3 W in 3 G for the Sisters of Sigmar, probably the worst match-up for the poor Halflings. This would be the first time that the Matrons of Malice will face Halflings in CIBBL. The Sister of Sigmar's Team (2nd with 7 Pts.) is besides the Humans of Grasparossa (1st with 9 Pts.) the only other big contender fog the Empire Regionals Title. It is expected, therefore, that the Sisters will try everything to win their game vs the Swan Riders.

…. that Swan Riders “borrowed“ their colors from the Altdorf Accolytes, the former name of Reikland Reavers? The legend says that Swan Riders were founded 2407 by enthusiastic Halflings, who showed games of Altdorf Accolytes, who became very famous for their seven consecutive Chaos Cup Championships from 2399 to 2405. Somehow our founders thought that if they “borrow“ the uniforms of this mighty team, they will manage to have also their results. It seems, that it did not worked as planned, but there is a well kept tradition that the Swan Riders uniforms have the same pattern of the last season uniform of the Reavers, as they were made from them. It is probably a mere coincidence that it is impossible to find anywhere in the Warhammer World old uniform of the Reavers, neither in a sports museum or even the official Reikland Reavers collection in Altdorf, a mystery that many fans and even the Reavers board are looking to solve.
