VT Squad get to 200th games
Soon after getting their first Human League Premiership title, the Vault Tec Squad reaches 200th games played in a bloody win (for us) against some dwarfs. I thought of it as a great milestone to celebrate, but now that I'm there I have mixed feelings.

I'm sick at home since a couple of days, so I spent a lot of time playing to reach that milestone (the VT is the 8th human team to do so), but I realized too much sloppy play on my side, lately. Since I won the Premiership and lost most of my legend / super star players in the run, I'm undecided what to do next with the team. My bank is full, so I can try a restart from scratch to give the Conference a go. On the other hand, I would like to test a build heavy on catchers, to see how it performs. And I should build the next generation of vault dwellers around an Ogre or not?

While thinking about the next step, I just kept playing the team, but without too much focus.
Maybe it's time to put the VT Squad on the shelf for a bit and get back to them when I will be ready to push hard for the 100th victory.

I can't imagine playing a team that long. You have solid dedication to your team. While it is true we bleed freely in the box, we do so to stop those xenos and cultists from preying upon the soft, rookie teams and their coaches :)

While I prefere the ogre fight more build, I would imagine the all catcher game would play more in line with a short pass, high score style triple cage maneuvers and denial zone defense.

We are all heroes!

I know how you feel. I go hard with humans for a while, then I take a short break to play some top tier teams, and rediscover why I like humans so much. Skaven break. Elves don't have Guard or a Big Guy. Slow teams suck, are unimaginative, and can't pull off fun, come from behind wins without stupid lucky cas dice early.

Humans are the most entertaining. They can kick ass if played right, and still, it's fun to play other stuff too.

Come up with a plan sir. You'll love the BT blodge Ogre if you ever get one!

Well keep pushing onwards man. Once you hit game 900 with them you will have explored allmost every possible team build. Lots of legends. Gave a shot or two with catchers. Had a great ogre or two.

Once you hit game 500 you have found out that you have rebuilt that team about 8 times and every time it is fresh and new.

But the real issue is a nutshell is this.

If you want to play in tournaments and groups like HPL were winning those are more important than team building. Well that will restrict your team. You cant make certain builds and be succesful.

Just playing to team build on the other hand and getting a lot of games on one team does free you up from your competitive side to just have fun. Try the 3 catcher build/pass attack. Center around your ogre and make him a scorer by giving him catch on his first double.

Good luck with the team and have fun.

It sounds like you've got plenty of options to explore when you're ready, and your team is in pretty good shape still. I suspect this is line of thought is being influenced by not feeling 100% - so get well soon!
