In the spirit of Bah! Humbug! Christmas...
Having spent much of my time in gamefinder it bemuses me how people maltreat such a useful tool. Here are my gripes;
1) Only list the teams you actually want to coach in gamefinder... Doing a bblfg puts them all in. Try and be selective... it's very easy to just tick the box next to your team name.
2) Once you've listed your team in gamefinder, and you use IRC chat, or similar, stick around to read challenges from people... going afk without changing your nickname ie /nick Wotfud|AFK is really quite annoying for someone to sit there waiting for a reply.
3) If you are going to go off and play a smack and sit in the smack channel, take your teams out of gamefinder. Or at least check your messages!
4) If you don't have chat / can't use chat, then put something at the top of your Coach Bio saying - "Message me through the website as I can't/don't have chat!".
5) Finally, the old favourite - RESPOND! ... or when you get a game mark yourself as /nick Wotfud|playing or /nick Wotfud|IG (In Game). A simple "no", although not as polite as "no thx" will do.
Hopefully this blog will be read by one or two coaches who might think about this list next time they enter Gamefinder.
As usual, Rate 6 if you agree, 1 if you don't... and have a Merry Christmas... or if you don't go for religion like me, then... Enjoy the food and get some good pressies! :)
