ARC Power Rankings- DLE Season 5 Mid-Season Window
These are the Power Rankings for the DLE including Rounds 1 through 9. No games played after Round 9 have been taken into consideration. It has been 7 rounds since the last ARC, so a lot of shifting has happened. Only 1 team remains exactly where it was after Round 2.

32.) Carroburg Crimson Cascade: It has been a long time since this spot was occupied by someone other than SBS but somehow 3C (-3) found a way to lose to the Guppies. Then to make a terrible season even worse. 3C's best player (IMO) Janine von Meyer was slain in a match vs KWW. Deepest Sympathies sent to coach Torvatn and the rest of the Red Wave.

31.) Skar Bay Sharks: "The Guppies" (+1) climb out of the cellar and onto that first step. Getting the first win in a huge step in the DLE sometimes and coach muad finally made that stride forward. Still lots to prove to climb any further.

30.) Talabheim Sluggers: While it took SBS's coach 11 matches to get that elusive 1st win, coach datom did it in his 5th. The Slugs (+1) look like they could be on the upswing FINALLY. But I don't want to jump the gun, so for now they get a slight bump for their small bit of success

29.) Altdorf Thunderbolts: Since starting the season with a win, The 'Bolts (-3) have not found much success.

28.) Barboza Bruisers: The Bruisers (-1) likewise haven't had much success since an opening round victory... But a little more than Altdorf. Hence the rankings order.

27.) Muckenhof Manticores: The Manticores (-5) Started off the season fairly hot at 2/2/1. But have drastically cooled down and returned to 'Core Form with 4 straight losses.

26.) Fort Solace Griffins: The 'Fins (+2) seem to be learning that Ties are OK. Now they just have to learn how to turn those ties into wins.

25.) Monte Castello Wreckers: The Wreckers (-11) are the Biggest movers in these rankings... And it's not in the right direction. At this point it might just be best to write this season off and start planning for the future, which it seems may be what coach Hoodless has decided to do in the midseason window.

24.) Remas Eagles: Speaking of Tanking, the Eagles (-9) seem to be leading the way. Not since coming into the inaugural Season of the DLE with 3 skilled players, losing 1 in game 1 and another a few games later hav the Eagles had so many rookies. Poor Derek Carr is back in Remas to suffer through another unskilled season.

23.) Averheim River Bandits: The River Pirates (+5) aren't playing too terribly in my estimation, but it hasn't been great either. 1/1/0 in their last 2 is good enough for this spot. Keep it going coach!

22.) Wolfsbach Scimitars: The Butterknives (-1) were supposedly ranked too low in both the Pre-season (19th) and the Round 2 (21st). Now at 3/1/5, I must bump them down another spot. It's looking more and more like the pattern that I mentioned in the other rankings will hold true.

21.) Marienburg Foxes: The Foxes (-5) are STILL one of my biggest disappointments so far this season. I expected good things from this team this season. I know coach MLS has more important matters going on, And understandably, maybe his mind is elsewhere. Hatee-Hatee-Hatee-ho!!

20.) Los Cabos Marauders: The Marauders (+4) were 2/2/1 in their last 5 and have been one of the more active coaches on the trade block. Will it help them get over the hump? We shall see.

19.) Emsk Red Cardinals: Here they are, the team that remains in the same spot as 7 rounds ago. And as such I have this to say... ERC (-) is about where I expected them to be after their 9 matches. 3/2/4 is mediocrity at it's best. That puts you right about here... Middle 3rd of the league.

18.) Norden Legion: After a hot start Pink Power (+2) cooled down by losing 3 of 4 without a win. But they finished the half strong with a pair of ties and a victory.

17.) Praag Grizzlies: The Grizz (+6) front office made quite a few moves at the mid-season window. Acquiring arguably one of the best all around players in the league in Zach Ertz (3 Comps, 4 TDs, 7 CAS) should make a good team even better. Currently just 4 points back from the Wild Card. Can this team make the playoff push?

16.) Flashfurt Universe: The Universe (-4) is a part of the logjam at the middle of the KFC standings vying for a wildcard spot. Currently 6 teams are within 2 points of one another fighting for 2 Wild Card berths. The Universe sits at the bottom of that list. If they work their way up that list they will work their way up this one.

15.) Irrana Avalanche: SHC Champion Avs (+2) Currently seem to settle for the draw too often. If they don't start to take some risks and try to win some games, they are going to find themselves as spectators come playoff time.

14.) San Luis 49ers: Mobo and his Niners (-10) have fallen from grace over the past few rounds. 2/1/3 in the past 6 rounds Including a loss to perennial door mat, Talabheim has the Noners headed in the wrong direction.

13.) Middenheim Classics: The Classics' (+5) are spitting in the face of the Curse this season. In search of the franchise's first ever winning season, coach bigf seems to have them heading in that direction.

12.) Grenzburg Greenskins: After a playoff appearance last season and a slow start, we were wondering if the Orcs (-3) had reached their peak. But with a undefeated streak of 7 games, they seem o be right back in the thick of things.

11.) Templehof Thunder: The Thunder (+14) are a team I questioned early on, and early on they lost. But since then they've been rather hot and are now poised to take a shot at the post-season. Can they remain scorching through the second half?

10.) Kemperbad Knights: The Knights (+3), winners of 5 of their last 6 seem to have awakened. We know what this team has done historically. And now it seems they are back for more.

9.) Hargendorf Unicorns: The One Horns (+1) are exactly where I expected them to be at mid-season, at the Top of their division. I expect they will remain there as well. The only question is whether they will get a bye or not.

8.) Nuln Gunners: The Gunners (-2) are the same story as Hargendorf. Top of their division, as expected. Although that draw with Remas brought them down a notch IMO when things are so tight at the top.

7.) Wolfenburg Wolfskins: Yes the Pelts (-5) are undefeated, BUT they have more Ties than wins. To me that shows a little too much conservative play. I'm sure they are saving the aggression for the playoffs. But if they keep settling for draws, they might be on the outside looking in.

6.) Brionne Buccaneers: The Bucs (-1) are The same story as the Pelts. They have more ties than wins. The difference is that they play in a division that appears to be less competitive at this time.

5.) Bilbali Rangers: The Rangers (+3) have 47 CAS on the season. That is 37 more than they've taken themselves. This team appears to be a cult of mass murdering killers. And it seems to be working for them.

4.) Kislev White Wolves: KWW (-3) has taken some damage this season, but still finds a way to win. Riding a 3 game win streak into the mid-season window, can they keep it up with all their loss?

3.) Erengrad Vikings: The Vikes (+8) or as I like to call them, "The Walking Wounded" continue to MASH their way through the the DLE.

2.) Rotenbach Razorbacks: I love Pork! And these Hawgs (+5) are no different. They come into the Window with the Best Record in the DLE. They are playing lights out. But, I often say, to Be the Man, you have to beat the Man, and a 1 point lead over the defending champs in the standings is not enough IMO to put the Pork before the Stork.

1.) Broekwater Patriots: Defending champs, the Pats (+2) have continued to deliver (like the Stork) every round, as expected. Until they are truly taken out, or greatly surpassed in the standings, I still view them as the Creme de la Creme of the DLE.

Excellent read as always! Can't imagine how much work this must be.

Will do my best to push the 'bolts up the rankings: if people could keep bashing the Pats like bigf managed that would really help....

Hahaha. But I think Grizzlies actually have a great chance of making that maximum two losses and then mostly victories. Go for it sonrises!

The Vikings are the highest rated they've been. It's been a great season, apart from losing Robert Griffin III.
Main games of the second part: Gunners (first game) and Wolfskins for second to last game. Also looking forward to playing Thunder and seeing Zach Fulton on the field. Selling a ST4 mid season 4 was a daring choice, but it got us Lipican, who just gained ST4 in the last game, and it gained us Juqua Parker, who you all know has been absolutely brilliant.

"I deserve a pay rise!!!" was shouting coach sonrises while frantically waving an ARC Rankings magazine."I will go over to the owners offices right now and tell them straight in their face... 3 milion a year or i quit!!!"

"We are only #17 coach. This means we have 16 teams before us which i seriously doubt it to be enough for..." was Jeffrey arguing before being interrupted by coach sonrises.

"You are right Jeffrey! 3 milions is not enough! I should ask 4 milions! and a personnal assistant and a private cook...yes...that's right! They have no choice but giving me what i ask after such good review in the ARC Rankings. Arcayn call us a Playoff thing!!" screamed sonrises triumphant.

"Coach... Arcayn actually wrote.." tried Jeffrey to chim in

"We are a Playoff thing no doubt. Arcayn said it and ...Mr Graaf said it too ... remember? Mr Graaf said we were Playoff thing next year and next year and next year...so a sure lock playoff guest! Read the end of the interview!!" kept shouting sonrises

"Mr.Graaf said mayb.." Jeffrey was about to continue

"This is glorious Jeffrey! A well deserved recognition will translate in a 5 milion contract a year, a personnal assistant, a top private cook and a personal dragon at my disposal! No more flying in giant fly with the team for me! These are my conditions and i am going right now to the owners and tell them! My conditions or i quit! They will beg me to stay!!" and coach sonrises darts off his office full of determination...

20 minutes have elapsed and coach sonrises is walking slowly back to his office. He is pale and all energy and determination gone. Jeffrey gets closer and shoots "happy with your new contract coach?"
"Jeffrey... how many games we need to win to make it over .500 at the end of regular season?" replies sonrises
"Just .500 or over .500 coach?"
"Over .500"
"Well, as draws are possible, it is a bit difficult to simplify but we need two more wins than losses as draws wont help...and maximum 2 losses i guess... otherwise..."
BOOOM! a huge noise is heard like something really heavy falling on to the floor. "are you ok coach? wake up? Paramedics here! coach sonrises has fainted again"

At CCC we want to stress that we worked very hard to get this place, and are very satisfied with being the first franchise to be mentioned in the Power rankings. In fact, with the situation being what it is, we will fight hard in every match to maintain our present spot :) Even so, thank you very much for your condolances with regard to Janine (and our other three brave blitzers...)
