Senior Ghoul Russl Wilsn (Block/Sure Hands/+MA/+AG/Tackle) is the NCBB's all time Leading Rusher and Scorer. This season he finished 2nd in both categories.

INTERESTING FACTS:

This game presents lots of intrigue for the NCBB and it's fans. Not only are these teams seeking to get their hands on the National Championship Trophy (MD's 1st, UNAM's first sans askterisk.) but they are also looking to earn their Ball Carriers' a spot at the top of the Record Books.

The race for All-Time TDs seems to be all but wrapped up with UNAM's Wilsn holding a 2 TD lead and having a firm grasp on the tie breaker of less turns played. Diggs would have to outscore the ghoul by 3 TDs in the title game to obtain that record.

The race for the All-Time Rush Yards is completely up for grabs though. With Wilsn leading by a mere 3 yards anything is possible in this race. Rumors are UNAM's coach Menonaloco has been inquiring if running away from his goal causes negative yards or not. Seems the coach might have been looking to pad those stats.

Another fact I find interesting. There is a group of coaches that I consider the Core of the NBFL/NCBB. They are like the "Good Ol' Boys Club" of NA Fummbl. This club includes but is not only; Kryten, Sutherlands, JackassRampant, mrt1212, MrNomad, Ryanfitz (miss you bro), Jeffro, happygrue, ex-convict, robocoyote, Relezite, as well as others. This is mentioned because this is the first National Championship game since season 14 to not include at least 1 of these guys. And only the 5th in the same time frame to not have both contestants be "Core".

ANALYSIS:

Maryland may be much more tested this season, but UNAM appears to have the advantage in experience (7/7 upperclassmen to underclassmen compared to 6/9) and was in the NC last season.

They have the advantage in coaching Menonaloco has won 71% of his matches on Fumbbl and is in the Top 100 in CR on the site. Arcayn is around 50% win percent site wide with a much worse CR.

They also have Claw/MB going up against AV9 lizards.

So across the board this game has UNAM written all over it. Maryland, however, might have an equalizer in Diggs. An AG4 stunty player can be crazy if able to stay on pitch. So the weight of this game appears to rest squarely on the shoulders of the little Turt that has carried the Killer Turtles for 4 seasons. Can he do it one more game? Only Nuffle knows!
