Well, it's official. I am now 30 years old and have been playing Blood Bowl for 12 years. What have I learned?

Blood Bowl is fun, But fun is measured in different ways by different coaches. For me it's fun if my Chaosy teams can kill things or my Elfy teams can score (for me all teams enter these categories). Stalling can have it's place in the game but if it's a style of play that'll not make you any friends then sometimes it's just not worth it.

Fouling is fun, risky but fun. Fouling for no reason is silly but there's always a good reason to foul the right player. Elves are always fair game. As are Dwarves if you have 3 assists.

Losing can be just as much fun as winning. Losing a close game is fine. Whitewashes can have silver lining in skill ups. Nothing is worthless.

Sense of humour is key to Blood Bowl. Players like Chewie or Kenthis or Ultwe who understand this are the mvps of the game. Players who take a licking but keep on ticking help make the game a joy for all of us. You shouldn't feel bad if you're winning or losing as long as you're both having fun.

Fumbbl. Fumbbl is sometimes tough to get to grips with buth very worthwhile. Spectating is very valuable and playing a large volume of games can allow you to see your mistakes more clearly than in a short term league.

Real life. Well, um, not much to say really, i'm a geek and a half who likes LARP, RP and BB so frankly rl isn't my strong point (even if acronyms are. :))

happy birthday!!! And keep on chasing that spiked ball and pretending to be someone else!!! Always good to hear that it isn't my lonely edge of the world that has LARP.

Happy birthday!

The next 10 years will probably be excellent - the health of a young man, with the intelligence of an adult.

Drunken spelling mistake corrected. Todays hangover is mild but drinking with the family will commence in about 3 hours so that's probably a good thing. :)
