If I only could, I would! Unfortunately I cannot contribute with sounds.
Maybe my little blog entry gives the people who work on these sounds a positive feedback and encourages them to keep on working.
I believe if someone does something for free, the best reward is appreciation from users.

What sort of sounds would you want to add?
Posted by Dominik on 2014-02-07 08:11:00
A replacement of "hurt", a devastated "Oh no!", maybe a "Yawn", a "Gogogo" like in CS would add great stadium atmosphere, a "WTF?", the list can be endless.
If the responsible persons want to work on this in the future, when time is disposable, a thread with the input of other users would be useful.

/heyhey: Like a positive /stomp. /stomp is normally for fouling, surfing or hurting an opponents player in general. /heyhey could be the sound of the crowd saying "hey hey hey hey hey" faster and faster. For a TTM, OTT or just the kick-off. Building up to a massive /cheer, /boo, /aah or /shock
/vuvuzela: ok not this one please (really annoying /crickets)
/blind: "ref!! REF!!!!!!"
/chant: "Anál nathrach, orth’ bháis’s bethad, do chél dénmha" or whatever, when the crowd really can't wait any longer for that fireball to go off.
/whistle: For when there's girls playing... obviously.
/nuffle: "Nuffle be praised!" (or cursed...) because we can all use some of that.

Whistle sounds nice, but please no Vuvuzelas! :)

Whine could also have its place, but how would you express this tonal when you have to simulate stadium stands full of fans?

/whaaaa? For the why did he do that.
/sshhhhh for silence, when specs want the other crowd to quiet down.
/ hip to make crowd hip hip horray for a different cheer
/snort for the crowd to comment on a ssp pig or hog.
/yawn great idea to show starts they are boring.
/cmon to have as another shock type
I also would love to hear different laughs and cheers in there.

We could have a competition for new /hurt sound. Everyone should record their own that´s gonna hurt and we would vote for the winner.

If I am recalling correctly, inserting the sounds wasn't as much of the issue as finding royalty free sound bytes and editing them. If you want more sounds, I'd suggest compiling a list of them and provide the files for whomever has the time and inclination to insert them. As always... when asking for something... make it as easy as possible for that person to do it, and offer up doing some of the work yourself ;)
