Did you win your XFL halfling and gobbo tournaments by exploiting this or inspite of this?

It does not have to have super low TV. A "fully" developed Halfling team at 1400 TV is at a disadvantage to a 1100 TV team. It gives a Master Chief and Rubmelow Sheepskin.
In return the stronger team gets one extra Team Reroll and lots of Side Step and Diving Tackle which he can use after each three dice Block Tackle Blitz was successful (more than 5/6 times it is)
Just one of the many encounters: https://fumbbl.com/p/match?id=4193675
In a XFL Dark Elf or Nurgle, having 600 lower TV means usually GG right at the start.

Or Chaos: https://fumbbl.com/p/match?id=4057801 (still wincing in pain, 48 games later :-) )
If this is a fix for underdog Halflings and Goblins, do you see a need for the non-stunties to get something modified to make it harder for the high TV team?

Thats truly a problem, i dont think the spirit of the xfl is to see a rookie halfing team winning because they can field morg every round :p
And to thoses who will respond take a rookie team too, i dont think either the xfl is designed like a RRR tournament .;)

If y'all can't foul off Rumbelow, you don't deserve to win the fling XFL with a decent sized team. Get some Wrestlers and DP, or a fast BT tree, get him.
AV 7 stunty, boot it.

Surely only the most very talented and special of Blood Bowl players would be able to ride nothing but rookies and star players all the way to winning the tournament though...

We've had an all snotling team win the Ogre XFL and I'm pretty sure Chaos Renegades was won by something rookie-ish as well at some point.
It's an obvious fact that in XFL qualifiers there's a difference in the TV levels most likely to win. Low TV elves simply can't get the right inducements to bridge the gap and in stunties there is a lot to be gained by coming in low.
Having said that, I frankly don't see why this is a problem, provided the coaches are man enough to actually show up for the Masters with race they won.

i knew he would be here ! "Surely only the most very talented and special of Blood Bowl players would be able to ride nothing but rookies and star players all the way to winning the tournament though..."
Zara was a bigger pain for a bit more money but block-stab 4 strength BC used to be a major pain, and we got rid of her for those stars. We gonna acclimate for sure, and all praises to coaches with new team making it to the top, even if i hate it to lose some wannabe low tv myself ^^

That new guy is 100k less and has Tackle instead. Zara was more powerful overall, but you couldnt afford her everytime.
The problem explained in this blog is accessible to only a very small group (that is experienced stunty coaches AND veteran XFL participants). I fear that Christer won't be moved much therefore.

People with a minimum of intelligence will acknowledge, that Halfling inducements are not made for mirror games.

Inducements are inducements. I don't think fumbbl does house rules.

They do a house tourney so house rules would perfectly fit.
