Halflings for TT tournament
I'm takin halflings to a tournament tomorrow. The format is 3 rounds of swiss with 1100k gold and 130k gold to buy skills. Normal skills are 20k and doubles 30k.
I'm going with the following list and skill choices. Sadly no inducements or star players are allowed. The main reason I chose flings for this tournament.
2x treeman, both with piling on
14x fling, 2x block and dirty player
6x reroll
3x fan factor
Apothecary
I chose piling on over block because I want to see how it works combined with the Timmmber! skill. Two blocks, one for ballcarrier and one for a blitzer. Dirty player to try to maximise damage and to try the argue the call.

I would recommend not taking Piling On. Even with the Timber skill, it denies the Treemen one of their best uses, tying up multiple players. They will almost certainly get fouled as well.

I would be tempted to swap the pile on for break tackle. If your opponent gets too close you will be surprised how many times break tackle saves the day. 2+ dodge into cage is great.

I used PO mainly to reroll injury. I didn't use it always if there was a position to mark many players. It was used few times and gave me maybe 1-2 cas. I remember also maybe 1-2 blocks that could have been with block-skill. Score today was 0/1/2 with one loss due to a lucky blitz and bounce by opponent /sad.
