Hobgoblin team
Back in the days I used to play in a league where we had a Hobgoblin team.
I really had a lot of fun playing it, the theme was playing dirty and being fast, but with a high level of breakability as in they died a lot :)
With this in mind I have made up my own version of how I would like to see a Hobgoblin team look like, comments and feedback is very welcome.
The team looks like this:
Qty Race Stats Cost Skills N D
0-16 Hobgoblin 6337 50k Git G ASP
0-2 Brute Git 7337 90k Block, Shadowing GS AP
0-2 Clevva Git 8337 90k Strip Ball, Sure Hands GA SP
0-2 Nasty Git 8337 80k Dirty player GA SP
0-2 Sneaky Git 7337 100k Dodge, Side Step, Stab GA SP
I really want to add a Black Orc to the roster aswell, since it fits lorewise and also the team could use it, but at first I have decided to error on the side of underpowered.
So what does people think?

Looks like some kind of skilled skaventeam, missing the gutters....
In general i kind of like the concept, but after one skill those are some damn fast amazons...
But why do Nasty Gits have ma8? Who would use a ma8 player for the risky business of fouling?

@DatMonsta thats the point :) you start with the best fouling options there is, but its a vauble player so will you foul? later you will skill up linemens for it, but out of the box u can foul if u like.

nasty git should have only G access and max MA of 5 i think.
brute git should also have G access only imo. MA7 shadowing is powerful enough with block on a 7337 player for 90k i believe (give him tackle or DT on a double an he'll be so annoying)
all in all i see no balance of this team. monsta posted the comparison to zons, and they overpower them very soon ... also up to 8 positionals is far too much.

I think it's a decent enough idea, i'd limit the maximum mv to 7 though. I think that either Skaven or Dark Elves are the teams to compare it to.

I'm using a hobgob roster as well. They started off ok, but are stuggling a bit now.
Mine are hobgobs, gobs (apparently the hobgoblin team were made up with both) sneaky gits, a troll and 2 black orcs.
I'd say add the black orcs and remove one of the positionals. It's all a bit eccletic imo.
Great to see though.

That team is actually faster then a human team, which is just not right. The stats and skills of this team is way overpowered. I like the clevva git (except the name :P). But the idea of self made teams should be something akin to Slann. Ie a team making use of wastly different skills then the normal teams of bloodbowl.

Thx for all the good input, ill go into thinking mode and maybe come up with a new version, one that has Block orcs but less position players, thinking arounf 6 fast players should do it
