Back in the old days I loved using Khemri. Have yet to really play one since the changeover, but they are a fun team to play. Back then, they seemed to struggle at high levels too :)

Come to the dark side. I have been telling everyone this for ages. New Khemri are the most fun ever!

Even without block or wrestle + fend, skeletons still provide good anti-clawpomber fodder.
Thick skull + regeneration...good combo - in addition, the ST 5 on the tomb guardians can be hard for the killer teams (often lack guard) to get good blocks on.
The teams to worry about are the good coaches that have 1-2 clawpombers that they use surgically - they are always the toughest teams to defeat.

I started two Khemri Box teams recently and also just finished 10 games between them. I thought they were good fun too, a real challenge, but a good practical reminder of the importance of positioning and movement.
Wish I'd seen that guide before I started!

I also recently did a Box Khemri team, 22 games; it was a blast, but I retired the team for various fluff reasons. I'll almost definitely be making a new one, but since I'm still new to most teams, I'm trying out some other things before that.

Yay! More bones for the khemri bandwagon!
I too recently joined the Khemri ranks (thanks to freak_in_a_frock and Enigma179), and I have to say they are immensely fun, even when the other team runs rings around you (which is happening less often - boy do they teach you positioning quicksmart). Highlight so far would have to be copping 7 cas in one game (6 of them perms), and having regen fix every single one.

I still think they're ok as a clawpomb counter. At least, my skellies just seem to keep getting skills, despite my best efforts to the contrary!
