It was August 2013 when the
Mad Screamers first wore their masks to
face a vampire team.
Since that day many things have happened, and
many screamers are no longer with us. Most of them were just
anonymous linemen, who spent half their career prone on the pitch, and the rest of it in the dugout. Others were
talented catchers, who thought they could scream higher and louder than anyone else for the rest of their days.
Some got in the hearts of our fans, like
our devoted fouler, who booted that
legendary vamp to death.
Or like the legendary Evander "Dorfkiller" Goldnsake, who
died during
his quest to kill the dorfs who trumatized his youth.
Many and more Screamers came and went, that's the life of a Pro Elf team.
But
one was just better than anyone else, a
true legend.
Now the Mad Screamers are the
E.L.F. Champions, something they would've never thought would happen when they first started.
This one goes to all the fallen Screamers. May your scream be heard accross the stars!
A new year starts, and I feel a cycle is ending for the Screamers, too. Our stars and legends are beaten up and any match could be the last for these guys, but before that happens, I want them to play a major.
So they will only play one (hopefully) recovery match and then be shelved for the great adventure.
The Mad Screamers leave the forest.
