I probably need a break
I've got some games were I feel that my dice specially prevented me from being able to compete. I felt like if my hands were tied and some of those games were really hard for me to finish.

Not that my opponents played badly. They played well and I though it could be a tense and interesting game.

I don't mind losing if I was able to put a good resistance and the game was close. But in those games 1st the dice and then my mood and morale going really down spoiled the fun.

I had no fun and this makes no sense if you don't have fun.

Hard days at work, where the crisis is hitting hard and maybe we will have to fire many people. Probably this is also a factor. You came here to have fun and sometimes you bring your problems here, and not only you don't have fun but sometimes spoil the fun from other fellow fumbblers with your mood.

Enough rambling.

Edit: The problem is no the bad luck. Is how I react to it. I must focus on the fun part of the game. But sometimes is really hard when your overcompetitive side takes control.

yes take your break sir....

when what should be a fun and relaxing time in the evening just brings more stress and annoys you, just do sth else for a while. we will happily welcome you back in a couple of weeks/months

I seem to have had plenty of bad luck games and it can be frustrating when you want up to 90minutes of relaxing/fun/tactical time but instead feel like you are wasting time rolling 1s. But it is part of the game. Give it two weeks and you will be desperate for a match! :o)

Yup, sounds pretty much like my situation.

BS at work, BS dice when you come home to blow off steam. Doesn't help. Nearly a solid week without a fun game, I took a break too.

I'll be back probably around Oct 1 or so, or when FC starts.

I am on an 18 month break since I played last :)

Yes I agree with the rest, take a break, enjoy it for it being a game, dont play it to take your mind off work, when you roll skulls RR skulls it doesnt help

Or make a suicidal goblin team, some the throwaway team that you can use to blow off steam and not care about the result, some wacky leagues about try some of those

Have a KitKat, and come back refreshed and hungry. :-)
