Khemri Blast!
For many years I never played Khemri because I considered them and inferior stupid team unable to pick up the ball, but..... I was wrong...

First it started with my Darwinawards team. I had a blast!, discovered that khemri were fun and if played carefully even competitive. To my surprise the team managed 13/2/1 record.

Then I decided to start a ranked team and Ghostship appeared from the mist to get a 14/0/0 starting victory streak catapulting me to the #1 Khemri coach list.

Keys to play Khemri:
1. Pitch Control is capital.
2. Patience is a required virtue.
3. Decay sucks.
4. Skeletons rock.
5. Agility 2 doesn't mean you cannot dodge.
6. Always 3D block with mummies when possible.
7. Priority list: ball security > position > advance > bashing.

So I can only encourage you all to try them.

Now I'm considering purchasing some khemri miniatures, I've seen willy miniatures has some mighty tomb guards. Need to find proper skeletons.

All I can say is HOLY CRAP

I mean I have 61 games on my R khemri, and I've won less than 20 of them. From my experience Khemri are good at holding onto the ball once you've got it in a safe zone, surrounded by TGs, but one good kick will screw you over, because you can't really rely on the skeles to get back up and free up your carrier if he's far from your big boys.

Perhaps I play too aggressively to actually win though... my main objective right now is to play a game with 16 fouls :P

you forgot: 0. Roll +AG+AG on your ballhandler :D

khemri are fun, although it gets more difficult with higher TV in my opinion, as regen is often crucial at low TV, giving you the numbers often

Khemri are cool :)

Got 12/5/1 without any doubles or stats but yeah it is already getting harder dominating with strength at 1500+ TV

Plus AV7, Think Skull and Regen are all hated by ClawMB teams :-P

@Reisender
I amost never dodge with him, he mainly asures you a 1st safe pickup.
He will probably be as good with ag3 and cost les TV.

Of course, selection of opponent may have also assisted somewhat, since the average CR of your opponents has been 150.

134.37, 154.53, 154.83, 151.86, 158.56, 159.17, 154.72, 134.37, 161, 141.6, 154.53, 147.85, 155.87 & 138.66.

Not saying you specifically chose them, it might just have been who the match system threw up, but I would certainly be interested to see how the team gets on against some tougher opponents.

PICKING IN MY RANKED?!!?!?

@DukeTyrion
Do you have also an argument for my box team?
Posted by DukeTyrion on 2012-10-12 17:35:49
To be honest, I didn't really look at both teams, I just looked at the 14/0/0 team linked.

The results for the box team are very encouraging. Of course, a Str 4 Blodging ball carrier will help, but naturally he would not have had those stats for all those games.

If you carry them on, the results as your TV increases will be interesting viewing.

I would also like to know what deal you had to strike with Nuffle, to get 2 such awesome ball carriers!

Also, you might be interested in an undead team I created some time back, with only Skeletons as linemen (I.E. No Zombies).

I was trying to prove my theory that with the extra MA and the thick skull Skeletons were a really good alternative;

Results ended up at 33/8/9.

Nice thro-ra statups! Still great, great work though.

@DukeTyrion
Of course I expect the results to go down when I raise TV, specially due to decay that prevents you from keeping well developed TG's.

And regarding nuffle, I keep sacrificing good players to him!

I have played very few games with Khemri overall, and think they're funny. However, I've failed to pickup the ball with 'sure hands' FOUR TURNS IN A ROW, on at least two occasions. Then there are the times where it's taken three turns!

But once they pick it up, and assuming your opponent isn't all over you by then, they're not too bad. I've been meaning to get more games with my no-TG box khemri.
