Very nice painting you've done there.

Hadn't realized it quite at first, but I have to agree with blocknroll. Excellent workmanship on them, but not sure I like the aesthetic of the base model. The croc look is a bit jarring for a player I think of an dinosaur-based.
(nothing I paint ever comes out looking half so good though) :D

While it takes a little getting used to, the croc look is growing on me as it adds a different flavor to the team.
Aside from that the paint job is excellent. I'm sure no matter what the base model is you'd find a way to make it look great!

Aye, I prefer the Hasslefree minatures Devanu models for saurii (http://www.hasslefreeminiatures.co.uk/range.php?range_id=64&subcat_id=72), but the painting is awesome.

Very nice work. What colors did you use on the base coat? I have this team waiting to be painted and wanted to go with the more realistic look. I have delayed because I was not sure where to start for layer 1. I use the typical 4 layer paint method.

@BCH
I primed the miniature grey with Tamiya grey primer spray.
Then I used the following colors from Vallejo:
For the Scales
Basecoat: Bronze Green
1st Highlight: Reflective Green
2nd Highlight: 50% Reflective Green + 50% Lime Green
3rd Highlight: Lime Green
For the skin
1st I applied a watered coat with Bronze Grey (at the same time I painted the scales base coat) mostly to assure a smooth transition between scales and skin and to cover al the primer coat.
Basecoat: Green Brown
1st Highlight: 66% Green Brown + 33% Green Grey
2nd Highlight: 50% Green Brown + 50% Green Grey
3rd Highlight: Green Grey
Hope it helps you!
