I hear it's fun, but is kind of still going through development. Not unlike this lovely game that we play and complain about. I suppose the only way to keep gamers from pressuring you to tweak your rule set is to discontinue it ;) Hell, even Monopoly added in "House Rule" cards and a new die to their recent edition...

From what I gather, it's more like basketball than football, games go quicker than Bloodbowl, and there are mechanics that definitely make it more fun for a league setting than just one-off games.

I have it. Never played it. Base coated the models. Getting it out on Wednesday night and playing with it with a friend. Then we might play Dreadball! bada tsch! I'll let you know how it turns out.

I played with a few friends when it only had 4 races. At least then the teams with dedicated scorers (strikers) were obviously better, as the games are more fast-paced and you can almost always try to steal the ball. Although in the end 5 dice slamming the rat strikers was just as satisfying as killing gutter runners :P

The game certainly has some nice ideas, but as it has already been said it also is still sort of in development.
