First of all Id like to start this post by stating my gratitude to the warm hearts of fumbbl for their responses and advice with my last post. with the linerat i ended up getting kick as i was missing a kicker and for the stormvermin i went with the +str (if anyone cares anyway lol)

Season 3 for the rats is about to start now and we have ended up being promoted up to tier 4c in the occ - and things are looking mighty scary for our squad; we're playing an orc squad with a nasty mb tackl po fr guard bltser orc as well as a movement 8 blitser with guard and a +mv +str tackle blitser (sweeet :)

my tv is 1500 and his is 1880 so I have some inducements to the sum of 380k (and a squad of only 11 rats to be detailed below)

so I am debating my options in terms of how to spend them - v tempted by a wisard babe and merc linerat but then again 4 merc linerats and an apo could be sweet too... and then there is the hot pot - tempted by its madness...

1 +str stormvermin no other skills
1 level 1 stormvermin
1 level 1 gr
1 +mv guard wrestle gr (horrible combination of skills I know - I regret each day lol)
1 blck niggled gr
1 +mv block ss, leap, sprint gr
1 rat ogre with jugs and guard
1 line rat with -mv and tackle (i had 8 players die last season so not goung to replace payers till have the cash)
1 wrestle kick linerat
1 level 1 -mv linerat

he has 4 black orcs including a blodge guard ss one (the others have block), 4 blitsers (as described above and 1 level 1), 1 gobbo with blck, 1 troll with guard and sf, a blck tackle dodge thrower and 2 lineorcs (1 with wrestle and dp)

arggh - the decisions - other than this I have 100k in my treasury so could spend money replacing or buying a new player before game but seems foolhardy given all the deaths last season!

Kind fumbbl folks - what are your thoughts on what my best moves are here before the game?

P.S. the game is on steam so i dont get all the cool players i could get if it was on here - only morg and the rogre are available as superstar mercs (as well as standard squad members with +20k penalty and loner)
