edit:
Please see Akarenton's comment below for slight update as I wasn't aware of a couple of facts but we still smashed it - feeling the love right now - might even have to play with flings a bit :)

Just to clarify, £525 of that was to correct funds that hit my account before Pents could get his details added to the fundraiser. £485 was the two payments that hit my account, and the other £40 I put in myself to avoid him losing anything on fees for them.

Ahhh ok well slightly less but still good - my blog now feels a bit dumb but i will refer to your comment below

It's still a staggering amount. They actually only needed $540 to stave off the immediate issue, and we've raised over double that so things will be much easier for Rene and family. A fantastic display of just how good a community this place is, and a reminder that there are real people behind the screen names.

Yeah a bit of a tear jerker there - well done for setting it all up mate I think everyone here appreciated it and really cool that we could all get stuck in like that

It's an amazing effort guys, and it's great to see FUMBBLers being cool like this.

And no, Fouly, no.

But you promised :(
Posted by pythrr on 2015-07-26 20:13:14
but it didn't get to 1000 pounds... :(
Posted by Mr_Foulscumm on 2015-07-26 20:15:10
I'm confused, doesn't it say they're up to 1300 pounds? :/
Posted by Mr_Foulscumm on 2015-07-26 20:15:59
Oh I should have read other peoples comments.
Posted by pythrr on 2015-07-26 20:16:28
if you take off the 485, we only at 893 pounds.

So, quick guys!

107 pounds to retire the Lammers!!!

Do eeet!
Posted by FRSHMN on 2015-07-26 22:23:15
But wait, will paypal be added to the lammers retiring total?
Posted by Calcium on 2015-07-26 22:58:13
lol, Pythrr using a loophole to get out of retiring the Lammers.... Lots of lame all around here :)
Posted by pythrr on 2015-07-27 19:31:42
FRSH - paypal has already been added. Sann made some sizeable deposits (oo err) into the GFM account from the paypal monies.

and Calc --- if it actually gets up to 1000 pounds of donated money (as opposed to akaR's moving money around), I'm very happy to retire the lammers. We're 107 short at the moment.

:)
