Now please remember. Please don't blab the scores and spoil it for us Euros.

Didn't read the p.s. did ya Koadah. FOR SHAME!

As a pats fan, i look forward to breathing through my mouth and 15 years from now when i can interrupt any football conversation to say... "but Brady/Belichick were the best combo ever, even if your team did just win the last two SB's, that's nothing compared to our blah... blah... blah."
Please note the use of "our" to indicate I had something to do with the team's success.
:D

that's the thing though ryanfitz - living in the past's achievements will only hold you over for so long. Niners fans aren't happy and they pull that "How many rings you got?" crap all the time.
It seems like a trump card but it's really a prison you wind up inhabiting where there will never be anything ever as good as it was and your memories of how good it was will fade.
Also, hell yeah you have to use 'our'. Whats the point of being a fan if you can't relish in the achievements of the team?

Football started last week. ;)
I kid of course just more of a college fan myself.
Should be a fun season though.

How high did Beastmode go in your pool? You think he can sustain production?
Posted by koadah on 2015-09-11 01:39:10
Actually I didn't read any of it. As long as he doesn't put the result in the title like last time so it appears on the Fumbbl home page. ;)

Go steelers go! What a catch by Antonio Brown!

I actually took beast mode as a keeper (3rd year now) along with dez. I think he can keep up the yardage at about 1700 apy and hopefully Graham can open up some better play action passes that will benefit the run game down the road. I'm cautiously optimistic but that's kinda stupid being the #1 favorite.

Main thing I'm looking forward to:
The renaissance in Oakland. 70's greatness is coming powered by ACDC... Back in Black.. Writing is on the wall. Never been this excited to watch them. They should be a great team to watch.

I m a Raiders fan myself so I hope you're right about the renaissance huff ;)

I am one of those new Aussie fans obsessed with just one thing: how will Jarryd Hayne go? 49ers just added an entire continent of fans...
Anyway we are all used to here what Jarryd Hayne is capable of, but what is your feeling stateside? Is he a one (pre season) wonder? A work in progress? Will he even get on the field? Or will he have an impact this year for the 49ers (who seem to be in a desperate situation from what I gather)?

I heart Gronk
Posted by mrt1212 on 2015-09-11 17:53:20
Grod - I am super excited to see how he does and I think he'll get some opportunities at punt returning at the very least. He's so different in some ways from the mold of kick/punt returners but he's surprisingly agile and has great vision.
I hope he makes it!

Gronk does seem the posterchild for shirt-copters and ALLMENZLOS!!!!!!

A gronking to remember

Renaissance I tell you: Back to taking talented players with off-field issues.

A commitment to malfeasance.

Always been an Eagles fan, although have lived in St. Louis the last dozen or so years. Looking forward to the Eagles offense and hopeful their defensive secondary does not stink quite as bad as last season.

Ya got Byron Maxwell for big money, so maybe that'll help a bit. The offense really is the most intriguing thing about the Iggles so I think I'll watch their offensive drives on Sunday Ticket then go to more entertaining games on D.

I'm a 49ers fan, though I live in Boston. But c'mon - even if you hate the Patriots you have to love Gronk. The dude is a giant man-child who is enjoying the hell out of his charmed life and is on track to shatter all kinds of records for tight ends. I can admire that.
Posted by mrt1212 on 2015-09-12 18:09:07
I really hope that Gronk never does anything criminal because he really is the embodiment of everything that is fun about the NFL.

Tyler Lockette is gonna be much more than just a PR/KR guy... Gonna be the #1 WR come Week 5 or so.
