Despite not participating in my favorite tourney this year (Going to be on a trip of a lifetime) I want to start drumming up interest based on the best meta of all Majors (IMNSHO).

The meta for the WoC is absolutely fantastic. First there is a mutation reward for winning the whole thing, BUT it's contingent on which qualifier you entered. Secondly there are two paths in the qualifer stage - a champion bracket whose size is determined by chance and highest TV and a favored bracket which is the 16 remaining highest TV applicants who didn't fit in the champions bracket.

Last year I kept track of the participants in a google docs sheet to give you all a feel for the best place to enter your teams.

Note that last year several coaches were left out of the tourney because they crammed the most popular qualifiers with lower TV teams. Both Khorne and Nurgle favored bracket only had 15 applicants and required a filler. Don't let this happen to you if you really want in to the tourney and don't really care about the reward. Additionally, it might behoove you to try and bring your TV up a lot to benefit from small champion brackets, although for me all it did was conspire to get me to drink 5 cups of coffee before the game and lose my goddamn mind and totally blow it. Don't let that happen to you.
