This is a hobby. Nothing more, nothing less. Please stop with the negativity. If you think your time would be better spent elsewhere, then please go and spend it there with my best wishes, but please stop trying to read more into it than it warrants.

Whose hobby on Fumbbl is it to delivery the next issue of the GLN? Hobbies are hobbies after all ;)
Thanks for the feedback and duly noted.

Slightly weirded out.... I mean... who has a conversation with their wife?

A poorly put together GLN crafted with love and energy is enough for this site. I think of PainStates forum posts for the Majors, which are awesome. Throw it out, sure only 3 people will comment, but everyone loved it. We don't have a "like" counter here so you don't get the positive feedback you might be used too. Get goofy and have fun, I even did a little meta for my nurgs on one of the threads, no one responded, didn't care, made things a bit more fun.

If he has a wife.. Maybe they have xhildren? Can't you just force the children doing the next issue?

I see what you did with the title there!

Wiser men than me have pointed out you should always focus on what you can control and not worry about the rest. I've just returned to FUMBBL recently, but you seem to be a good dude who cares. Be the change you want to see in the world and keep plugging at it. Progress should come incrementally from there, and if it doesn't, at least you gave it your best shot.

It's not BB code, it's secret Goblin language! :D
That being said, I have edited one issue already, and formatted 3 (?) of them. I don't think I will do both again any time soon.
Now, if the GLN can't work anymore as it used to (one editor, one guy to do the formatting, and a dozen of great contributors) - and it doesn't seem to since we haven't had any issue released in 4 years - maybe it's time to rethink it.
Maybe it's time to make it a collaborative project, with no real editor. As mentioned in private we could start using the private section of the forum again to store articles whenever someone feels like writing one, and pull an issue together when we have enough material, supervised by a small group of volunteers who would do the proof-reading and try to make all that somehow consistent.
Just a thought...
If anyone has something better in mind...
But of course, if you want to finish the job, again, you can count on my meager support.
Take care.

It's not easy owning up to biting off more than you can chew. Kudos to you.
