<b>Monamie's Vice</b>
Although the name of this south Brettonian port translates locally as 'friendship' there is precious little of that sentiment left in the city. The population is an incendiary mix of wealthy retired aristocrats and destitute Estallian exiles. It is a haven for all kinds of unsavoury characters, crime flourishes within the city walls and for many Brettonians the name Monamie is now synonymous with vice. Yet despite the crime and pollution the citizens can unite in appreciation of one thing… The fine art of ultra violence…
Blood Bowl!

<b>2492: </b>
In an attempt to ingratiate himself with the Brettonian King the Duc de Roubie forms a Blood Bowl team and names them in honour of the King’s 7 year old son the Dauphin. The Monamie Dauphins are born.

<b>2493: </b>
Things quickly begin to go wrong as it transpires the King’s son is actually a huge Reikland Reavers fan. To add to their woes the Dauphins first season is plagued by misfortune, the worst incident being the entire first team resigning en-masse after being forced to wear fluffy rabbit ears on their helmets in homage to the Dauphin’s favourite toy Hoppy the stuffed Rabbit.

<b>2494: </b>
Now playing with a staff largely made of aristocratic amateurs the Dauphins results take a nose-dive. Things are not helped by the aristocrats’ refusal to play on the same team as ‘commoners’. This policy leads to the Dauphins having only 3 active players by the seasons end. However tragedy strikes as the team owner, Duc de Roubie, dies. With no one else willing to fund the team the Dauphins sink into the ranks of local amateur leagues

<b>Now:</b>
The ambitious nobleman and courtier of the now adult Dauphin, Sir Gawaine Huitsangre revives the Monamie Dauphin franchise with a fresh injection of cash that allows them to compete in the ranks of professional Blood Bowl once again. The Dauphin still takes an active interest in team affairs, although it is still rumoured he supports the Reavers!
