A new galaxy...
Will Oakheart has just caused his 70th casualty today, which makes him the 3rd active legend of the team.
According to the top list, no other fling team ever made it so far, so I guess it's worth a blog entry (well, that and alcohol). Bob Berserkling and Ernst Swiftoak welcomed him to this very exclusive club with a good pint of Alflingem.
But the team isn't gonna stop here. Next objective: sniping Mr T. This guy has to disappear from the top lists, and both my trees are ready for the challenge.
I'm still wondering about the Warpstone tourney as well. One week ago, I'd have entered it - no question asked - but since then, all my +ST flings (the core of my team) got (sometimes multiple) -AV. It could be really fun as it could mean the end of the Sammiches as you know them.
Bah, I guess I'll sign in anyway.

Just sign in! It could be a glorious way to go down for them. Or a deep run for halflings! And don't you think some mutations would look good especially on your trees? ;-)
Just hope you meet the Agility Monsters and not some other dwarves in round 1 (though a qualifier final would be more exciting)! ;-D

I was watching that match, you battered the other team! I would love to see the Sammiches in a tourney for a bunch of reasons.
1. I've become a semi stalker like fan of the Sammiches, and love watching them play.
2. The possibility of a big name coach rage quitting if you could beat them, always good for chuckles :)
3. I 'll get a chance to see how well 'flings can do in a tourney as I'm slowly building up my own SLF to be my first ever tourney team.

Great team, the kind i like with a background (only thing missing is some bio for your best players).
I would be happy to have one team like this one day but i'm not sure to have the dedication for it though.

Both trees blodge is epic ofc. And I have to say you and your team have made a very quick rise to fame since NOVEMBER.
Note that AV5 isn't that much worse than AV6. The drop from 8 to 7 (vs MB) or from 7 to 6 (without MB) is the worst one.
I only just realized that when we played your first ranked game, it wasn't against the flying sammiches, but against their zombie predecessor. What a shame. =(

Actually, I did make the Sammiches to play against you, but their TV was too low to match you lizards' (+/- 800 TV if I remember well), so I quickly made the other fling team you're referring to, and retired it after the game (no skills, and a couple of injuries).
Eventually, the Sammiches found a game despite their incredibly low TV after that, and that's when everything started.

And nope I'm not going for the record of TD with a tree. It's funny when you can score with one of them, but that's a loooong road with MA 2/3 and Take Root. :)
