Some interesting stadiums there

Maybe it's too much of a modification, but I've always thought an interesting house rule might be to allow teams to alter the pitch dimensions for their 'home' games. This would require an ongoing fee (a bribe to the officials in charge of measuring the pitch to ensure compliance with the standard).
Slow bashy teams might want a narrower pitch to give agile fast teams less space to run around them. Conversely the speedy teams could do with a wider pitch.
It's a pretty drastic change to the rules, so getting it balanced would be very hard, maybe impossible, but it could be a fun thing to try occasionally.

@wallace I assume the actual square size would have to be consistent? unlike the fluff of second edition where each square was 4 paces... and the halfling team that struggled against the Giant team whose pitch was over 5 leagues in length :D

@Wallace
I like this idea. +-1 Wide or +-1 Length. -1 in Length for those easy OTS, that would be fun, right Calcium?
Maybe something for FUMBBL_CRP?

when i played 2nd ed. we had stadium surface rules for certain teams. i.e. dwarves played on granite (-1 av) elves and halflings on grass (+1 av) slann (and zons) in swamp (-1 spr. but could be gfi fail on 1 or 2) ogres on shite rocky pitches (+1 scatter rolls) etc. probably made things massively unbalanced but when you're playing a 2 or 3 hour game all variety is welcome. also, bring back pit traps!!
