my oldest was born in a very similar way -- helicopter trip for mom to the hospital for emergency c-section. 6 1/2 weeks early -- she is now 12 and the tallest girl in her class with straight A's. I am sure it will all work out well for you sir.

It seems that your kids are doubling in weigth? 3 lb -> 6 lb -> 12 lb? -> 24 lb??.

6#3oz seems like a pretty decent weight for a newborn. Usually that's what you worry most about with them being born early. Sounds like everything's ok though, so hopefully you're in the clear.
