Hi Shydeon. I have enjoyed your blogs and it is good to see a player making backgrounds and really getting into fumbl. Try not to be disheartened by dice rolls and just accept that sometimes things don't go your way. Equally try to understand this when you completely trash an opponent when things don't go their way either.

I like your team fluff and good goals to set. I would say maybe aim for 50 games or so first as 1000 is more than most people can play in a year will all teams never mind one.

As for skills the best thing to do is stay adaptive. Just be aware that with random skill ups that sometimes a lineman might end up having amazing ball handling skills because they rollled +ag or a blitzed may become your ball carrier due to +mv or +ag. See what the dice god gives you and then assign your players roles in the team based on that.

Most coaches are happy to help so don't forget to ask on the forums etc if you are ever undecided about what skill to go for next.

Thanks for the compliment out of nowhere rofl. I did not expect anyone being like this. The 1000 games is before I would retire the team. Honestly my elves if they went a little bit better i would of tried that goal too but yeah.

Also for skill I just prepare a guide line like you may of saw for the Queen that going Mighty blow and Guard but i have dream set for background and emergency no double set in case to match the best i can with the character. I mean i get agi or MA that i was not planning they are still welcomed to replace the last skill or the least needed skill.

I do have a Linemen I am trying to figure out what to do and she deserves to be my next background that I will post on blog when its done and the potential idea. She got a +agi as her first skill making me want to turn her as thrower if I get a double soon to replace my thrower that is not going to last long with a niggling injury from what I heard from others i should of removed them but kept them till something happened the other that i did retire for that injury was cause it was a linemen and that game a journey got me a touchdown so i said yeah replace.

The Agi Linemen might be reborn ed as a thrower in a new body if she passes on and my current Thrower might turn in to a linemen I will figure something out. There backgrounds are always the same though so that is the trick is how to tweek the change for them that take another roll is going to be hard.

You're playing Amazons, which are a great low TV team. They tend to be incredibly powerful till other teams start carrying a good bit of tackle, around 1500 TV.

The best things you can do with them to start, is ensure that all your players end up with block, or wrestle, and get as many guards as you can (Doubles on everything that isn't a blitzer, but a double well worth spending).

Also, don't be afraid to use RRs on blocks. Amazons tend to have all the built in RRs a team could want (though, be aware of tackle), so you can be more liberal with them than on most rosters.

Force opponents to make contact with you, and minimize their blocks as best you can. If you force them into a position where they throw 16 blocks the entire game (a blitz only each turn) you should win easily. That's an ideal situation, but one you can make happen more easily with amazons than most rosters.

Can you stop whinging about bad dice? Bad dice isn't why you can't win a streak of games. Bad play is. Dice decide may be 1 in 20; the others are decided by good/bad play.

Sure good coaches will get around bad dice, but he played like 20 games, give him a break! XD
