Two solid wins today, putting Kingston back on track in the Priemiership at 6-1-5 with 4 games to go. The first game sees me get my first ever legend in FUMBBL,
Borris *Brain Problems* Bane. Fend won't likely win as many games as Tackle, but it will certainly help keep him alive longer, and he's the one who wins the games.
In the post game I'm also lucky enough to roll the third double on my greatest Ogre,
Moffack *Four Pounder* Plock. Pro, block, and now dodge will hopefully make his niggle less of a target. Hard to believe he niggled before he even skilled.
The second game against chaos today saw it 1-1 at the half with 7 of my players feeling quite pesimistic on the LoS waiting to take their lumps from his 11 players. But a bit of lucky bashing (on Defense!) set up a 2d block on the ball for one of my rookie linos, and he didn't let me down. It was a good feeling to win without either of us falling prey to unlucky SKULLS. It was just a solid game where more dice went my way without anything being too stupid. GG
dreadlord.
I didn't realise it at the time, but aside from one guy on the LOS, the rest of my six players at halftime had blodge. Pretty rare for my humans. It certainly helped with the defense on my end while shorthanded. (only 1 enemy tackler) Pretty good day for the Kruelty.
Up at 1850 TV now and I havn't got the heart to fire anyone. I know a fat clawpomb team is going to rip me to shreds soon. With half a mil in the bank I should be able to finish the sprint, but is there something obvious I could do to cut the team down before chaos does it for me? I just can't see it. Every skilled guy pulls his weight on a regular basis. But 1850.. man, that's getting high.
Rock on human coaches.
