I am loving Photoshop these days. I couldn't make heads or tails of the GIMP, and always found it hard to do what I wanted to do with the old version of 'jasc paintshop pro' I was using.
But the 'severly outdated' Photoshop CS2 that I have been using has so many cool features that whenever I find myself wondering if there is a faster or better way to do something, I need only to search the tools or options a bit and, sure enough, it will already be there. I recently found a version of CS5 online that I got working on my computer and I am interested to see what new things might be there to help me out even more.
With a bit of tinkering I can take a new team idea, find a few images, and make a crude logo I'm happy with in about half an hour. More time if I'm trying to make it 'tidy' but 30 mins is about my limit. Most recently I'm tickled with the combination of internet and deviantart.com images I used to make the mascot for my new venture into the
Underworld with my team '
U Wanna Get Kilt?'. Bring on the ARR!

I'm fascinated by the online image editor WhatBall used recently in his
forum thread. (pixlr.com/editor) It has alot of features I use in CS2 and it would definatly be a good tool for others to explore if wanting to play with images and logos. A WhatBall tutorial would be awsome.
