In France I only know of people complaining about it. Yet getting rid of this non sense is far away from anyone agenda. Sigh.

I hoped the EU would get the finger out and move on this issue, but nope! Not this year.

Razmus, Ontario is actually putting in legislature to remove it; which should cause both Quebec and New York to follow suit.. at some point (I realize this first domino may take.. quite a few days). Once they're in, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot more go, like Dominos.

@SpecialOne - Yeah, I check a few times a year to see if Europe has managed to get rid of this beast yet.
@Nelphine - Apparently there are parts of Quebec which already don't use DST (and Saska, parts of BC, Yukon, and Nunavut) And there's legislation proposed in the US Congress which would keep the US from switching of DST, just for this year. (That timetable won't confuse folks much.) There are a host of US states which have already passed legislation to move to DST full time, but it requires the US Congress to make changes to the existing federal law. https://www.ncsl.org/research/transportation/daylight-savings-time-state-legislation.aspx

Thanks for the heads-up. Loathe it as it personally messes me up for a few weeks, and also is responsible statistically speaking for an increase in car accidents.
