Isle of Misfit Teams: Season Seven => Eight

In private with the island gaming commission, while discussing the prize for season eight, they revealed a bag of excess trinkets they brought with them to the island. During the negotiations which followed, the gaming commission (which not unexpectedly includes most of the best fences on the island) will be handling the disposal of the contents of the bag. Some, they are making available to teams as they play this year. Most will find their way into the market. One glowing green crystal pendant on a thick gold chain shall be offered to the season champions!
So, this season, teams will still be divided into divisions by TW. (1) Every team will be able to purchase one magic item card for each game. (2) Wizards will still be induceable. (Stunty grease and spiked balls shall be stowed for later seasons.) At the conclusion of the season, the top four teams from each division shall be invited to the playoffs, with wildcard teams filling out the bracket as necessary. The Plague Pendant shall be awarded to the winning team.

Season Eight is scheduled to start this Saturday, 17 July, and the ships are arriving in the El-Aljana harbor carrying in new teams all the time. Most of the teams who play of the Isle of Misfit Teams are former 145 Club teams, but any [L]eague division (ruleset 6) team in the open environment (not imported into a group) are invited to play.

Is there any TV limit to for the joining teams?

There isn't a TV limit. Last season the divisions TW ranges were [2250-1950], [1920-1740], and [1680-1000], with the season champions coming from the lowest division to rise up and beat everyone.
