The Secret League Open (SLO2020) environment will be adopting seasons starting on
Saturday, 1 February 2025. If you are not certain what that means, please see
Christer's post on the topic first.
The parameters will be a little more generous than the Competitive environment, promoting "games played" towards getting to the cap over performance.
- 15 games per season
- 1000k gold base budget
- 20k gold per game
- 20k gold per win
- 15k gold per tie
- 10k gold per loss
- 1600k redraft cap
- 70k per game ramp-up for the cap
- 20k cumulative agent fee per season
This will have the effect that most teams will be able to reach the redraft cap with even a poor record.
When seasons are turned on, the following effects are anticipated for existing teams:
- Teams with fewer than fifteen games will not immediately see a change other than an option to end their season will appear, and they'll be permitted to redraft earlier than fifteen games.
- Teams with fifteen or more games which are already in the ready state will be able to play one more game before being forced into the end of season state.
Teams which have reached the
end of season state will have two options:
- Redraft
- Join a tournament.
And with that, I'm also announcing the return of major tournaments in the Secret League Open environment. First up will be the First Annual Sclitz Premier Cup which will begin the following week on
Saturday, 8 February 2025. (The winning team will get a double random agility skill.)
