It is happening again. Despite deciding they didn't want to do it anymore, Europe will be ending Daylight Saving Time for the year on the morning of 31 October (All Hallows Eve). Hopefully irate clock spirits cross through the veil between realms on that day and harass the members of the various government bodies who couldn't manage to negotiate an end to non-contiguous time representation in their regions.

Anyway... to folks who schedule your games and don't natively use European time, be cognizant that server time will shift one hour back on the morning of Sunday, 31 October at 2 AM.

And thanks to the immense stupidity and ignorance of American members of congress, while the country was embroiled in not ONE but TWO wars, decided that the US couldn't possibly change their clocks at the same time as Europe... we don't change our clocks until 7 November. (So, folks in the USA and Canada... if you're accustomed to a particular offset from server time, realize it'll be off an hour for a week!)

Of course, there are a multitude of places with people smart enough to realize that their legislatures can't actually change the number of hours of daylight experienced and don't bother changing their clocks, and I envy those folks. Most places south of the equator which still use DST have already changed their clocks this season, with the notable exception of Troll Station, Antarctica -- which apparently adjusts their clocks as if they were in the Northern Hemisphere and by two hours... so apparently they don't keep their clocks with anyone. I predict they're gonna be plunged into darkness regardless. (Okay, plunged into constant light... they're in spring headed towards summer!)
