Hey, a week shy of 7 months since my last
RRR Meta blog post, and Storr has kindly finished the last of the first 32
NO STARS ALLOWED rumbles, same as those original 32 Starry Rumbles, so we can finally compare equal pools of data.
It seemed the rumbles were slowing down a bit but then, a 24/7 craze took Discord by storm! Now, everyone and their mom is
applying to the
Rumbles, which, by the way, are recruiting 24/7! If it keeps up we'll have our 6th centennial rumble way before 2024 is over.
On to the data.

So it seems that the Amazon dominance is confirmed, and Orcs have risen to a very close second place, with TKs still very present but now a distant third. Undead, and shockingly and more severely, Underworld, far down the attendance and wins rankings. If you really want to win a rumble though, Chaos Chosen is your team, with a ridiculously high success rate of 1 in 5 participating teams winning a rumble. Who woulda thunk?
The starless meta is here to stay, even with the Mega Stars banned from [C]. Until Cindy joins them, I can't see anyone seriously putting forward a proposal to revert that ruling. It still feels like there should be something in between a total ban and a free for all, instead of TV difference always meaning just "a beer, a bribe, a wiz" and little else. But I'm not the one to come up with it, as every halfway measure people have put forward can be easily circumvented. Rumbles for the rookies, brawls for the stars!
What's over, is me tracking all the participants and the winner of every one of the past 64 rumbles. It's a neat
big round number of teams, exactly 1024. Feels like a good place to stop. And now new vampires are around, so who knows how's that going to shift the meta.
What will you apply? Amazons, Orcs, or something fun? As for me, I've got a few teams lined up, and someday I might even apply elves, the
four teams I've never ever entered into rumbles! That cherry could be yours! Be quick, because the Rumbles are only
open for applications 24 hors a day, 7 days a week!
EDIT fixed an early mix-up with the tables :)
