I am proud to announce that Salsa is my first legend player, and what a player he is! After 55 games, Salsa achieved legend status and is currently the top active Slann star in Ranked, and the top all-time Slann scorer in Ranked (second in the Box only to Rotor on both counts as well).

Salsa has been a part of some glorious games in his time. I glanced over the match list, and here are a few that jumped out at me.

As a young, blodging +ag frog, he led the team in an epic OT win during the Lustrian Challenge VI. The rest of the team decided to find some shade, and left Salsa and 3 other frogs to run the gauntlet through a full 11 nurgle players. It all started off well when a perfect defence allowed the St 6 Beast to tag up half the remaining frogs...

But as exciting as as that game was, it is nothing compared to another OT win in the FUMBBL Cup XI. The amazon master chef steals 6 RR, leaving me with 1 each half. Salsa snakes using the first half RR on the goal line, but picks himself up and grits his… (what do frogs grit?) ...anyway, The second half is the All-Salsa show, and with that 1 RR saved going into OT with 6 frogs, I win the toss! I think I have a chance - until Pop (Krox with block) double skulls his blitz, allowing the zons to pick it up and get into scoring position… I won’t spoil the end, but it’s good fun right up through the last block.

The very next game Salsa again shows his gritty chops by almost single handedly by stalling on offense and delaying on defense - saving the few remaining frogs from an ugly looking OT scenario.

Of course, it hasn’t all be fun and games (well...), Salsa has had terrible, embarrassing performances too.

But, now that he’s a legend, I don’t expect any more screw ups. ;)
