25% through Black Box Trophy
Morning all,
Played my 24th and 25th BBT games this morning, let's go to Bill at the stats desk.
Anti-Science
Reasonable start by the stinky boys sees them going 3/2/3. Slow bloater development with only two with block (one also has guard) but 4 pestigors on roster (2 have a couple of skills), 3 rerolls and a general good feeling in the team's camp. This is my first real time coaching nurgle so not sure if going pestigor heavy was a good idea but who really cares :)
Heat, Dust and Dreams
Khemri are the double edged sword through my heart. I love using them but boy are they tempremental. My normal box team is 7/3/3. These boney boys are 2/1/5. Players of note are a blodge blitz-ra who scored a hat trick last game. That's about it for them.
Rumbletums Batterers
I love using goblins, I love using ogres, I cannot for the life of me get my head around flings. 0/1/2 isn't great and I'm dreading the next 22 games. But do have a +ma tree so there's that.
Warpstone Munchers
A strong start for UW saw them win their first three games. Then I took a break from BBT and they've been bad since I returned. Have dropped to one reroll and leader after a chat with neilwat but they haven't been picked by the scheduler since.

Not the best of runs so far, plagued by bad luck, bad coaching and a bad choice of teams to be honest. But I'll see this through to the end. Quite enjoying watching my CR freefall.

I feel you on playing a team for 25 games that you really stopped liking by the third game. I chose to look at it like a challenge and to just learn something new with them. On my next trophy run, I'll have to do something elf. And I absolutely hate elves.

Keep at it as long as it's fun JD. I struggle with the BBT myself as I'm not particularly good at focusing on so few teams. Still include them in the draws, but alongside several other teams - not a great way to get the full 100.
